Can we not apply for Undecided as our first choice major? I still don't know what I want my academic focus to be for my undergraduate years, but Undecided seems to only be available as a second choice major, yet a first choice major is required. Help?

Hi, I submitted my act scores to USC about 1~2 weeks ago but it still says that they have not received it. My other schools have and I have triple, quadruple checked and made sure I sent it to USC through the ACT page. Should I be worried?

USC Theatre Transfer Admission Rate

So, I have been looking at and considering community college to possibly save money and build up my resume for theatre which is not extensive. If I did do it I plan on majoring in an AA program for theatre. Then transferring to the USC BA program for theatre arts. I am willing to work for that spot but I am wondering do they like to accept theatre transfers for that BA program.

Do IB and AP test scores count towards the 30+ credits you need to have to not be obligated to send the SAT scores for transfer students? THANKS!

AP Credit: California Community College to USC

I'm in my second semester of my senior year and am really close to graduating. I'll be attending Palomar College in the fall for (hopefully) one year, after which I plan to transfer to USC as a sophomore (they allow transfers as long as you have completed 30 credits). Obviously USC is extremely competitive, so I do have several back up plans, but this question is focusing on plan A. By the time I graduate, I will have completed six AP courses; AP Physics I, Biology, Government, Literature and Composition, Calculus AB, and Psychology. I got a 2 the Physics exam my junior year, though, so I know it won't count for college credit. If I pass all of my exams this May, even though I'm not confident I'll be passing that calc exam, I will have 13 transferable credits to Palomar College, which is great because my current course plan has me taking 30-34 credits over two semesters. My question is: Palomar accepts credit for a score of 3 or higher, and I already know which courses I need to take to transfer to USC, but if those course requirements are met by AP classes, will USC accept them when I transfer? Or will I have to retake those classes, regardless of if I passed the exams, while at Palomar to meet the requirements? Because if I can, I'd be saving $600 in classes alone, not including the books I'd need for them.

USC Merit scholarship??

Hi, I received admission to USC today in the mail, but I can't find any information regarding merit scholarships that I qualify for. How can I figure out which ones I qualified for? My USC online portal doesn't have anything listed on financial aid yet. Also, if I submitted the FAFSA and CSS just recently (oops), will that affect my chance of receiving merit aid? A prompt response would be appreciated :) Thank you!

USC - Scholarship Email

I recently received the scholarship email that said 1200 students were admitted with chance at 4 of the merit scholarships. It said something like I'm sorry but you were not selected for further consideration for these awards. I am definitely above the standards for what USC accepts; however, should I be worried about not getting considered for these awards especially since there's no way I could pay full tuition considering I won't receive any financial aid? Or is this maybe just a cursory overview of the candidates and even with near perfect application you can be passed up for someone else even with a less impressive application? Thank you in advance for your replies!

Transfer App Fee Waiver?

For transfers, I know that the Common App fee waiver applies differently according to the schools you apply to. I'm pretty sure USC accepts the Common App fee waiver, but what supporting document/letter should I get from my financial advisors at my current school so that they can approve the waiver? And which address do I send that documentation? Through email/mail? If anyone has experience with the Transfer Fee Waiver for USC through Common App..please help!

Help with applying for financial aid

Hello, I submitted my FAFSA as early as I could, however, it doesn't show up on the received documents on my youSC portal. Is this normal? I assumed it was, but as it's getting closer to the deadline to apply for financial aid I'm getting evermore anxious. Thanks in advance!

Is there a facebook group for admits?
